This Privacy Policy explains what information Travel KoCash Converter ("the App") collects, how it is used, and your choices. We built this app to be as privacy-friendly as possible.
If you grant permission, the App uses your device's location once to automatically detect and suggest your local currency. Your location is processed on-device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
The App shows ads served by Google AdMob to support free use of the app. AdMob may use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and other technical data to show ads, including personalized ads if you grant tracking permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can decline this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking, and the App will continue to work normally with non-personalized ads. Subscribing to "Remove Ads" (an auto-renewing annual subscription) disables ads within the app for as long as your subscription is active.
The "Remove Ads" subscription automatically renews annually unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit — we do not receive or store your payment information.
Your currency list, preferences (theme, language, base currency), cached exchange rates, and any trip/expense records you create in the Trips feature are stored locally on your device via Apple's SwiftData framework (and, for widget syncing, in an app group container shared only between the app and its widget). We do not operate any external database of user data, this data is never transmitted to our servers, and we do not sell your data to third parties.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
